assists with the implementation of treatment plans, provides individual and group skills training, case management, and coordinates with multiple service providers for a client caseload with other care team members. This position is based at LifeWorks NW's King site. Responsible for client orientation, including advising clients and significant others about available services and recommending appropriate services. Provides input on clinical assessments and the development of treatment plans. Maintains contact with other agencies, referral sources, and staff regarding client involvement in treatment services. Conducts individual and group skills training sessions based on evidence-based practices such as collaborative problem solving, cognitive behavioral interventions, and solution-focused therapy. Teaches socially acceptable behavior using techniques like behavior modification and positive reinforcement. Encourages clients and family members to develop skills for confronting problems constructively. Observes and reports on clients' behavior, communication, and interactions, reporting unusual behaviors to professional staff. Organizes and encourages participation in social, educational, and recreational activities. Assists clients with job searches. Supports clients in accessing needed services and resources, advocating on their behalf. May attend psychiatric appointments if clinically indicated. Reviews and evaluates clients' progress against measurable goals in their treatment plans. Provides information about mental health and addictions issues and available services, making referrals as needed. Reports pertinent information to authorities in cases of endangerment, neglect, or abuse. Acts as a client advocate, coordinating services and resolving emergency problems. Provides clinical support for urgent needs. Assists with team tasks, such as arranging transportation. Maintains chart notes, obtains records from other providers, and tracks client involvement and progress. Completes documentation promptly in the electronic health record system. Responds to emails and voicemails within 48 hours; urgent matters may require immediate response. Transports clients using personal or agency vehicles and travels between sites or in the community. Qualifications: Valid and active QMHA credential through MHACBO. Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field, or at least 3 years of experience with the relevant population. Effective communication skills; understanding of mental health assessments, treatments, and counseling techniques; familiarity with program policies for Individual Services and Supports Plans. Ability to provide culturally competent treatment to diverse populations and work cooperatively in a diverse environment. Experience in psychosocial skills training and implementing treatment plans. Experience in case management for individuals with severe and persistent mental illness, adhering to confidentiality policies. Knowledge of community resources for appropriate client referrals. Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Word; ability to learn proprietary electronic health record and scheduling systems. Access to a car, valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and a safe driving record.
