Manufacturing Technician II
Shift: M-F/6a-2:30pm
Pay: $27.50/hr.

How will you make an impact? The Manufacturing Technician II performs assembly, wiring, alignments, and final configuration of components in an assembly. This position collaborates with colleagues towards common production goals via documented manufacturing procedures. This position also participates in continuous improvement activities and maintains the highest standards for workplace safety and quality.
What will you do?
- Conduct assembly work applying prescribed methods using a variety of hand tools, fixtures and test equipment
- Participate in resolving production challenges and making process decisions
- Assist in selection and/or set-up of specialized equipment
- Perform equipment set-up and calibration
- Follow audit and safety guidelines
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- A minimum of 3 years experience assembling sophisticated electrical and mechanical components and systems
- Experience in lean manufacturing, 6S and continuous improvement a plus.
- Familiar with quality management systems and safety programs.
- Previous assembly experience in a Clean Room environment is a plus
- Experience with Windows-based and MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Access)
- Demonstrated ability in successfully working in a Team of 8-10 colleagues
- Fluently speak, read, and write English
- Have appropriate visual acuity and hand/eye coordination to assemble, manipulate, and test small, precision electronic and mechanical components.
- The ability to read and understand wiring diagrams, pinout instructions, engineering drawings, and assembly instructions.
- Proficient with standard electronic assembly and testing equipment including, but not limited to soldering irons, multimeters, crimp tools, torque tools, etc.
- Ability to analyze and solve problems independently as well as collaboratively
- Self-motivated, self-starter with strong organizational skills
- Ability to lift up to 35lbs
- Able to work sitting or standing for extended periods of time
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, successful in partnering with colleagues of differing cultural, language and educational backgrounds
Compensation And Benefits
The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in California is $19.32$32.20.
