Our client is a well-known Automotive Supplier. The MACHINIST is responsible for producing precisely engineered parts used to build various instruments, machines and tools. Their duties include setting up equipment, operating equipment and inspecting finished parts.Responsibilities of a MACHINIST includes: Operates and maintains lathe and milling machines. Review drawings, instructions, blueprints, or samples to ensure accurate production. Takes precise measurements for cutting or shaping Familiarity with CNC software and machinery Identify need for and performs machine maintenance and minor repairs. Maintains a safe and clean workstation. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related tasks as needed.
