Attorney needed for Albuquerque office

Job Overview: A prominent law firm based in Albuquerque, NM, seeks a highly motivated Attorney to join its team. This role is ideal for an attorney passionate about advocating for individuals who have been wrongfully harmed. Duties: Client Intake & Consultation: Establish trust and rapport with clients. Collect and document essential details about liability, damages, and coverage. Set clear action steps for clients and the legal team. Oversee investigations to gather critical evidence. Assess insurance coverage and strengthen the case for trial. Negotiation & Settlement: Prepare cases for trial while evaluating Full Settlement Value. Cultivate relationships with insurance adjusters and negotiate aggressively. Initiate litigation if necessary, guiding clients through the legal process. Litigation & Trial Preparation: Draft pleadings, discovery, and other court documents. Strategize and prepare for trial, mediation, or arbitration. General Responsibilities: Review and approve correspondence drafted by team members. Collaborate effectively to ensure cases are processed efficiently. Requirements: Proven track record in personal injury law. Strong negotiation skills and a strategic mindset. Demonstrated ability to manage caseloads independently. Compassionate, client-focused approach to advocacy. Education: Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school. Certifications: Active Bar membership in good standing (preferably in New Mexico or the ability to transfer). Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Proficient in legal research, writing, and case management software. Ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and insurance adjusters.
