This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on high-profile cases involving complex financial services litigation. The successful candidate will play an integral part in handling various legal matters, including Ponzi schemes, class actions, and large-scale consumer claims. Duties : Manage all aspects of litigation related to financial services clients, including document review, drafting motions, and preparing for hearings. Represent clients in high-stakes consumer claims and complex litigation matters. Collaborate with senior attorneys and other legal professionals to prepare case strategies and legal arguments. Engage in client development activities and build relationships with key stakeholders. Take an active role in the discovery process and manage litigation timelines. Contribute to drafting reports, memos, and other legal documents. Assist with deposition preparation and expert witness coordination. Work within a collaborative, team-oriented environment to support clients and deliver top-notch legal services. Requirements : 3-5 years of general litigation experience, with a preference for experience in the financial services industry. Experience in court and litigation, including trial preparation. Judicial law clerk experience is a plus. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey complex legal concepts. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong interpersonal skills, with the capacity to build and maintain client relationships. Active membership in the California State Bar. Education : JD from an accredited law school. Certifications : California State Bar certification is required. Skills : Excellent research, writing, and analytical skills. Strong attention to detail and ability to manage complex casework. Effective oral communication and client interaction abilities. Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team. Familiarity with legal software and case management tools.
