Trusts and Estates Attorney

A law firm seeks an experienced Trusts & Estates Attorney to join its expanding Private Client practice in Manchester, NH. This position offers a unique opportunity to work with a highly skilled team of attorneys on complex estate planning, tax planning, and trust administration matters. The ideal candidate will have significant experience working with high-net-worth individuals and families on sophisticated wealth transfer strategies. This role provides flexibility for hybrid or remote work arrangements. Duties: Advise clients on comprehensive estate planning, tax planning, and trust and estate administration. Develop and implement tax-efficient wealth transfer strategies, including the transfer of closely-held business interests. Work with high-net-worth individuals, families, and their financial advisors to manage complex estate and trust matters. Draft estate planning documents such as wills, trusts, and related instruments. Assist clients with asset protection planning and charitable giving strategies. Manage a volume of pre-existing cases while collaborating with the team on new client matters. Requirements: Minimum of 7 years of experience in estate planning, tax planning, and trust and estate administration. Prior experience working with high-net-worth individuals and families. Strong ability to manage a high-volume practice independently while collaborating with a team. Experience in asset protection planning and charitable giving is a plus. Education: Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school. Certifications: Licensed to practice law in New Hampshire, or eligibility to obtain licensure. Skills: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to develop and maintain client relationships with a focus on high-net-worth individuals and families. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities in complex trust and estate matters.
