Join us as a Frontend Engineer at Sorella Labs, where you will lead development in building all user-facing interfaces. This role is ideal for those with expertise in creating engaging, intuitive websites and applications that flow logically and are visually compelling. This full-time role is open to remote candidates, with a preference for in-person collaboration based in our Soho, Manhattan office. Responsibilities Contribute to the architecture and design of our web applications, actively structuring the user experiences for our DEX protocol and for a first-of-its-kind, programmable MEV data platform Build and maintain all visual and logical web and mobile components for our landing pages, application frontends, and internal portals, across major devices and browsers Collaborate with our entire team to ensure seamless connection between our backend and frontend systems and implementation of new features Write and maintain comprehensive unit tests and documentation Identify, analyze, and resolve performance bottlenecks and inefficiencies in our codebases Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure our applications remain current and competitive Qualifications Demonstrated experience in developing frontends with modern frameworks and technologies such as Next.js and Tailwind CSS Proficiency in building REST APIs, optimally structuring SQL queries, and integrating other JavaScript libraries into frontend applications Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and tooling Strong understanding of UI/UX best practices and principles Ability to contribute effectively in an asynchronous work environment, both as part of a team and independently A strong passion for maintaining a high standard of code quality Nice to Haves A basic understanding of and interest in Ethereum and Web3, with experience building dApp frontends Skilled in HTML canvas manipulation (p5.js) and/or custom map building (Mapbox GL) Familiarity making visually-intuitive dashboards, graphs, and charts from complex datasets Benefits New NYC office in Soho Comprehensive health, dental and vision 401k + match Gym reimbursement Industry conference, event and travel opportunities Join Our Team We're about passion, impact, and real-world solutions.
