Manager of Advanced Analytics and Business Insights

who can use complex data to help our leaders and cross-functional teams make informed decisions, measure success, and drive the business. You will be responsible for building out a holistic view of performance as well as a detailed analytics roadmap by leveraging analytics tools (i.e., SQL/Hive/Hadoop/Cloud, Adobe Analytics, VisualIQ, Tableau/ThoughtSpot/Looker, etc.). Key focus areas include supporting global seller inbound and export capabilities as we evolve into an international marketplace. This is a highly visible role partnering with senior leaders to define and measure the success of Marketplace business. You will make an impact by: Contributing to a high-performance culture delivering projects in a fast-paced and growing segment of Walmart ecommerce Developing strategies for reporting, testing, analyzing, and forecasting business performance for Marketplace (3rd Party Sellers) Providing tactical ad hoc insights and a strategic analytics roadmap Delivering data-driven business insights to identify opportunities for business and product strategy Collaborating with Product Management to identify gaps, gather requirements, and design data products Working on roadmaps with Product, Data Science, and Analytics teams to understand growth and risks Defining success metrics and developing user/business metrics Translating strategy into analytic approaches, data requirements, and data models Designing and conducting A/B and multivariate tests Automating data and analytic solutions at scale You’ll sweep us off our feet if… You are a storyteller using data You enjoy solving new problems and finding answers You prioritize customer-centricity You have experience across multiple business areas You have a strong understanding of statistics and analyzing large datasets You are detail-oriented and accurate in managing information You manage data for experiments effectively You have skills in Python, R, SQL, Hive You are experienced with cloud data transformations (e.g., Google Cloud) You are proficient with visualization tools like Tableau, R Shiny, Looker You work well with stakeholders, data scientists, and data engineers You are curious, proactive, and adaptable You have experience analyzing customer interaction data You thrive in fast-paced, agile environments Qualifications: BA/BS in Business, Marketing, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field (or equivalent experience) At least 2 years in data analysis or related area with a Bachelor's, or 4 years of experience in the field Preferred Qualifications: Master’s degree in Business, Analytics, or related fields Certifications in Project Management or Six Sigma Experience with statistical programming languages Location: 640 W California Avenue, Sunnyvale, CA 94086-4828, United States of America
