Fairfax, VA Job Description: ADTEK Engineers, a leader in cold-formed steel design, is seeking a Team Leader for our Fairfax, VA location. The Team Leader manages the entire project cycle, including design, development, and completion, supervising project managers, engineers, CAD Designers, and Technicians. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Prepare engineering analysis, design, and calculations for projects. Conduct field surveys and prepare reports. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and layouts. Manage construction document printing and proposal processes. Review contracts and scope of work. Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet standards. Lead and coordinate team activities, including quality control and standard details creation. Develop client relationships and negotiate fees. Oversee multiple projects and coordinate with other disciplines. Handle HR responsibilities, including reviews, hiring, and firing. Job Requirements: Minimum 8 years of structural design experience, with at least 5 in cold-formed steel. At least 4 years of project management and staff management experience. U.S.PE license required. Bachelor's degree in civil engineering or related field from an accredited college or university. Note:
