Your Opportunity We are seeking an experienced National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) planner and project manager capable of guiding projects through the federal environmental permitting processes, from constraints analysis and scoping to regulatory consultations and environmental certification (FONSI or ROD). This is a full-time position based in our Solana Beach, CA office, with eligibility for a remote hybrid work arrangement. Your Key Responsibilities Responsible for managing environmental permitting projects, preparing permit applications, overseeing project teams, and ensuring compliance with federal and state regulations. Qualifications Your Capabilities and Credentials Strong organizational skills, multi-tasking capabilities, and attention to detail. Excellent technical writing, analytical, and oral communication skills. Ability to handle multiple tasks and shifting priorities effectively. Strong time management skills to meet deadlines. Ability to acquire background clearance for military installations and controlled access facilities. Valid driver’s license with a good driving record. Pre-employment drug screening preferred. Experience with environmental analysis and permitting for military projects or other federal projects on federal lands. Experience overseeing preparation of environmental permit applications with federal and state agencies. Ability to manage project teams, deliverables, schedules, budgets, and client expectations. Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, Biology, Geology, Chemistry, Urban Planning, or related field. Master’s Degree preferred. Minimum of 6 years of related experience with demonstrated leadership in tasks. Ability to obtain IAW NISPOM security clearance.
