What we offer: Competitive pay Full benefit package 401k matching Tuition Reimbursement The base salary range for this position is $120,000-140,000 annually, based on market data, experience, and qualifications. Salary ranges are determined by position, level, location, skills, and experience. Compensation may vary outside this range depending on individual qualifications and other factors. Base pay is part of the Total Rewards package. Position Overview: The Senior Process Engineer oversees daily production activities, ensuring safety, quality, and efficiency. Responsibilities include process improvements, asset utilization, cost optimization, and engineering analysis to reduce waste and downtime. What you will be doing: Design new processes and equipment Lead cost per ton improvement activities (benchmarking, bottleneck analysis, loss/yield analysis, process tuning, control schemes, trend analysis, reporting) Provide technical expertise for PSM activities (PHA, MOC, PSSR) Supervise contractors on projects Support control system activities (Delta V) including testing, troubleshooting, tuning Ensure compliance with policies, procedures, and work processes Support turnaround planning, startup/shutdown procedures Troubleshoot process or equipment issues Manage plant PIDs, PFDs Monitor and ensure compliance with safety and environmental standards (SUMO, COP/VIP, MDC tests) Track plant OEE Develop and update SOPs, process controls, interlock matrix, alarms, control narratives Back up Operations or Logistics supervisor Lead HS&E teams to address safety and environmental issues Complete required training and stay informed of safety and environmental regulations Report safety or environmental incidents Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering 8+ years of process/production engineering experience or 5+ years with a master's degree in chemical or mechanical engineering, preferably in process industries Extensive knowledge of chemical engineering principles, including process controls Ability to multi-task and manage priorities Strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills Proficiency in Word, Excel, PowerPoint Willingness to work in a 24/7 chemical manufacturing environment and be on call on a rotational basis Effective communication skills (written and verbal) for collaboration at all organizational levels
