Tell us about the unit(s): · Number of Beds – 32 beds · Number of Staff – 45· Type of staff:
o Day Shift – 1 Manager, 1 Clinical Coordinator or Charge Nurse, 4 RNS, 2-3 PCTs, 1 Unit Secretary
o Night Shift – 1 Clinical Coordinator or Charge Nurse, 4 RNS, 2-3 PCTs, 1 Unit Secretary (until 11p)· Patient Ratios – 6:1· Type of equipment – Standard Nursing equipment, BiPAP (Stable), Mid/Flow, PD, Heparin Gtts, Phillips Cardiac Monitors · EMR – Meditech 6.0 Typical hiring profile
Skill Set Most recruited for:
Must have
: candidates without these skills will not be considered for the role. · Willing to work weekends as assigned · Ability to work with admission/discharge high turnover daily. · No history of attendance concerns
Preferred or nice to have
: candidates with these skills will be considered first. · Positive outgoing attitude · Good understanding of HCAHP importance
List typical procedures performed on unit(s):
· Mainly Cardio-pulmonary , but can receive any general medical patients · Ability to monitor all for cardiac needs – we do not typically treat arrhythmias. · Can receive stable Covid19 Patients

REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS: · Only BLS · · To be clear ACLS is NOT REQUIRED

: · Scrub Color/Attire – Navy Scrubs, Any shoe as long as closed toe and heel.
