Travel **Job Description: Night Shift RN - Maternal Fetal Medicine Unit** Join a leading healthcare facility as a Night Shift Registered Nurse in the Maternal Fetal Medicine unit. This role is ideal for experienced professionals looking to provide exceptional care in a dynamic and supportive environment. **Shift:** 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM **Location:** Asheville, North Carolina **Unit:** Maternal Fetal Medicine **Number of Beds:** 10 **Staffing:** 8 staff members, including charge nurses and patient care technicians **Key Responsibilities:**- Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in the Labor & Delivery unit. - Monitor and assess maternal and fetal health, utilizing advanced fetal monitoring equipment and other tools. - Assist in various procedures including vaginal deliveries, cesarean sections, D&C, cerclage, and C-hyst. - Work collaboratively with a multi-disciplinary team to create a supportive and effective care environment. - Maintain accurate and comprehensive electronic medical records (EMR) using Cerner and FetaLink systems. **Qualifications:**- **Required Skills:** - Minimum of 2 years of Labor & Delivery experience, specifically in high-risk situations.
- Immediate newborn care experience is essential.
- Certification in NRP, BLS/ALS, and Advanced Fetal Monitoring.
- **Preferred Skills:** - Experience in circulating procedures within Labor & Delivery and the NICU.
**Personality Fit:**- Outgoing, friendly, and adaptable individuals are encouraged to apply. **Work Schedule:**- Full-time positions available with potential weekend shifts based on approval.
