company. In this job you will be a mechanical design engineer on a cross functional team responsible for creating innovative hardware solutions for demanding environments. Responsibilities: Develop
3D CAD models
and
detailed drawings
(CREO preferred).
Perform
structural
and
thermal mechanical analysis
to ensure performance in challenging environments.
Apply knowledge of
manufacturing and fabrication methods
to ensure production feasibility.
Ensure compliance with
technical, government, and industry standards .
Contribute to
technical papers
and
proposal development .
Collaborate closely with cross-functional engineering teams and lead elements of complex projects.
Qualifications: U.S. citizen with Active DoD Secret security clearance Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field and 5+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree and 3+ years of job-related experience. Strong proficiency with modeling CAD tools to create mechanical models and drawings Extensive knowledge of manufacturing and fabrication methods, as well as technical, government, and industry standards Proficiency in mechanical CAD (especially CREO), Detailed mechanical design and drawings/documentation, mechanical analysis (structural and thermal).
