Manager, Financial Reporting
to its team. This is a great opportunity for someone with SEC reporting and technical accounting experience who’s looking for growth, balance, and visibility. Why This Role Stands Out Hybrid work schedule in the Chicago suburbs while onboarding/training then remote (must reside in Chicago area) Strong track record of promotions and internal mobility Direct exposure to senior leadership Large-company with a small-company feel Key Responsibilities Lead preparation of SEC filings (10-K, 10-Q, footnotes, MD&A) Research and implement new accounting standards (rev rec, purchase price accounting, etc.) Partner with internal audit and cross-functional teams on controls and compliance Support ad hoc projects such as acquisitions, due diligence, and system/process improvements What They’re Looking For Bachelor’s degree in Accounting CPA preferred or tracking 5+ years of relevant experience (public accounting and/or SEC reporting experience required) Strong GAAP knowledge, analytical skills, and communication ability Work Model Hybrid: Onsite 2 days per week for the first 2-3 months, then remote "public accounting", "big 4", sec, gaap, accounting, accountant, reporting, financial, "technical accounting", manager, management, remote, hybrid, chicago, illinois, leadership, public, asc, "work life", flexibility Seniority level
