What You Will Do:
The Change Management Consultant will support our client with the EHR implementation, leading and executing the development of core Organizational Change Management capabilities for an enterprise initiative to consolidate IT functions onto a single managed IT services vehicle. You will develop and drive change management strategies for public sector IT transformation initiatives, establishing relationships with stakeholders to ensure alignment with program objectives. Your role will focus on four pillars of change: User Participation and Buy-in, Communications, Leadership Support, and Business Process Training and Education.
You will support the development of work products, establish relationships with clients and stakeholders, and identify process improvement opportunities. Additionally, you will support business development efforts across the MHS.
Coordinate OCM plan preparation and execution
Build change management plans aligned with overall program plans, guiding audiences through change phases including sponsor/manager engagement, training, and communications
Design and deliver communication strategies about the OCM program and organizational changes
Manage change impacts across impacted organizations/personas
Evaluate and implement operational process improvements
Guide client conversations towards effective outcomes
Educate business partners on the value of change management and engage change practitioners
Contribute to work product development and manage recurring tasks
Identify opportunities for improvement with clients and team
Develop slide decks and presentations
Collaborate with stakeholders to track progress on initiatives
What You Will Need:
Bachelor's Degree
3-5 (preferably 5+) years of change management experience
U.S. citizen able to obtain a Public Trust clearance
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and related applications
Strong client needs assessment and communication skills
Organized, self-motivated, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work independently and collaboratively
Excellent communication skills, including presenting to executives
Ability to manage deadlines and deliverables
Willingness to travel up to 75%
Nice to Have:
Advanced degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Organizational Change Management, or Business Administration
Experience in healthcare IT consulting or large-scale IT transformation projects
Experience with DoD or Military Health System
PROSCI Change Management Certification
CCMP Certification
The annual salary range is $89,000 - $148,000, depending on skills, experience, and organizational needs.
