Shift time starts at 0630 Day shifts, 4 shifts per week Shifts will either be 4 ten-hour shifts or combination of 2 eight-hour shifts with 2 twelve-hour shifts Call is 5-6 shifts per month including weekend shifts
2 Years OR RN Acute Care Experience - Required BSN - Preferred RN License - Required Travel Experience - Preferred ACLS, BLS, PALS - Required
"The operating room nurse is responsible for scrubbing and/or circulating duties for operative procedures; department admissions to the operative suite. Adheres to standards and appropriate aseptic techniques. Consults and coordinates with team members to assess, plan, implement and evaluate intraoperative patient care plans. Serves as a communication liaison to patients, families, and member of the operating team. Prepares the operating room for the patient and surgical procedure. Assembles equipment, supplies, and ensures equipment is functional, and supplies/implants are available. " About Jackson Nurse Professionals
