Job Summary: HARMAN International is transforming into a leading tech player in software, and they are seeking a Product Manager for their Marketplace product. The role involves owning the product management function, driving the Marketplace business, and collaborating across teams to execute product strategy. Responsibilities: • Conceptualize, build, and take to market Next Generation Automotive Marketplace solutions. • Own and define innovation process documents and deliver on time (MRD, PRD, Business Case, Pitch deck). • Own and define features, feature requirements, and build a robust go-to-market plan. • Synthesize global and regional market trends, market sizing, technology trends, and customer & consumer insights to determine product roadmap. • Collaborate and clearly communicate with technical & business team members to co-create a plan for executing product strategy. • Interface with the customer and customer-facing teams for clarification of new feature requests and impact on the product roadmap • Work across organizational boundaries (Harman and Samsung) to drive a unified and best-in-class approach to Product Management, Go-To-Market, R&D / Engineering • Work with Customer Groups (CG) and Marketing team to build and execute GTM strategy for Marketplace product. • Prioritize features and work with Program Management to define the release plan. • Facilitate integration of Harman and existing 3P products to envision a holistic and leading Marketplace solution. Qualifications: Required: • Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, marketing, engineering, computer science, or equivalent. • 6+ years of experience in product management, with a proven track record of owning and driving product strategy for B2B software or platform-based products • Demonstrated expertise in market research, customer discovery, and competitive analysis to inform product strategy and prioritization. • Proven ability to develop long-term product strategy, translate insights into execution plans, and deliver measurable business outcomes. • Strong business acumen, relentless customer focus, and solid communication and presentation skills • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, attention to detail. • Extensive knowledge of the principles, procedures, and best practices in the tech industry. Preferred: • Experience in responding to RFP/RFQs and collaborating internally to craft winning pitch and proposal defense along with Pre-Sales team • 6+ years of Automotive industry-related experience (including OEMs) • MBA or related degree Company: Headquartered in Stamford, Connecticut, HARMAN (harman.com) designs and engineers connected products and solutions for automakers, consumers, and enterprises worldwide, including connected car systems, audio and visual products, enterprise automation solutions; and services supporting the Internet of Things.
