About the Role As Store Manager, you will be the heart of the store’s daily operations, responsible for building and leading a high-performing team to deliver exceptional customer experiences and exceed sales goals. This role requires a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail environment, has a keen eye for merchandising, and can drive operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Recruit and train employees, fostering a customer-focused, high-performing team culture. Lead and inspire store staff to deliver outstanding customer service and drive sales performance. Oversee all daily store operations, including inventory management, merchandising, and maintaining brand-aligned visual standards. Monitor sales data and KPIs to identify opportunities, resolve issues, and implement strategies for continuous improvement. Ensure full compliance with company policies, operational procedures, and safety standards. Qualifications Minimum age of 18 years. Eligible to work in the United States. At least 3 years of retail management experience is required. Strong leadership and team-building skills with the ability to inspire and develop others. Excellent organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficient with basic computer applications. Bilingual (English/Spanish) candidates highly preferred. Passion for fashion, styling, and delivering exceptional customer service. Reliable transportation and flexibility to work varied hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays. Why Steps New York?
