Job Description
American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist/Cardiac Sonographer with at least one year of experience, BLS, and RDCS or RCS certification for a day shift contract assignment.
Responsibilities Work in an acute care hospital setting as part of the Echo/Cardiac Sonography teamAdult patient population with a variety of cardiac casesDay shifts (5x8 hours) with variable start times at 7:30 AM or 10:00 AM, including rotating weekendsOn-call is required, details to be providedCharting is completed using Epic EMR, and experience with this system is requiredNo routine floating between like units, but may float to other hospital locations within the state as neededDuties include performing echocardiograms and related diagnostic procedures for cardiac patientsAll travelers should be prepared to float within the state’s facilities if neededFree parking is available onsiteCandidates must commit to working at least three of the five major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day)Return staff may be eligible after a 3-month waiting periodNo block scheduling availableAll onboarding modules are to be completed prior to start and annuallyCandidates who live within 50 miles of the facility will be considered local and may receive a lower pay rate
