Position Description
Seeking a Senior Accountant to join our growing finance team. The Senior Accountant will assist the CFO, Controller, and Accounting Manager.
Position Responsibilities
Verify the accuracy of invoices and facilitate the accounts payable/receivable process.
Liaise with service providers (fund administrator, audit and tax teams, etc.).
Assist with quarterly and annual financial statement audits, tax returns, and regulatory/compliance filings.
Update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers, and other transactions for funds and the management company.
Process and review transactions related to the Funds’ investments and expenses.
Monitor banking activity and process/review transactions, including wire transfers and line of credit requests.
Assist with the review of credit card transactions and reconciling items.
Assist with the preparation of company budgets.
Maintain organized and thorough accounting documentation.
Perform other related tasks or projects as assigned.
Experience Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Accounting.
2-4+ years of professional experience.
Highly organized with strong attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Experience with QuickBooks is a plus but not necessary.
Ability to self-manage and work with teams located out-of-state.
Strong problem-solving skills with a willingness to learn, take on challenges, and prioritize.
Demonstrated interest in Accounting and Finance.
