This role requires strongstakeholder management skills and the ability to take initiative with minimalsupervision. The Business Analyst will serve as the voice of the customer,ensuring that business needs are clearly understood, articulated, anddocumented. The Business Analyst will work in both Agile (Sprint) andtraditional Waterfall methodologies for the Software Development Lifecycle(SDLC), contributing to ensuring that customers' requirements are met throughthe development and delivery of requested enhancements.Key Responsibilities:•Act as the voice of thecustomer, working with IT project team members and business stakeholders tofully understand business processes, pain points, and customer needs.•Develop expertise incustomers' business applications and organizational data management concepts,advocating for the customer throughout the SDLC.•Conduct Root Cause Analysisto identify system gaps and deficiencies that impact the customer and require abusiness, technical, or blended approach for resolution.•Diagram current processesand propose modifications using process flows (BPMN 2.0), context diagrams, anddata flow diagrams to ensure clarity for both technical and non-technicalstakeholders.•Client and documentcustomer-centric requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria with afocus on improving business and technical processes.•Decompose traditionalrequirements into Agile Epics and Features; create clear and concise userstories that are aligned with customer goals and are easy to implement bytechnical teams.•Map user stories totechnical designs for system modifications, ensuring that solutions meetcustomer expectations.•Identify and group relateduser stories into features; document dependencies, ensuring alignment withcustomer priorities and business processes.•Assist the Product Owner(Business Sponsor) in maintaining the product backlog with a customer-firstmindset.•Perform Quality Analystfunctions, defining test objectives, test plans, and test cases, whileexecuting tests (including regression testing) to ensure customer satisfaction.•Coordinate, facilitate, anddocument User Acceptance Testing (UAT) with business stakeholders, ensuringthat the customer is at the center of the testing process and keeping ProjectManagers/Scrum Masters informed of progress.Qualifications:•Minimum of 10 years ofexperience delivering business and data analysis artifacts with acustomer-focused approach.•5+ years of experience asan Agile Business Analyst with a strong understanding of Scrum concepts andmethodology, including representing the customer during sprint reviews.•Experience organizing andmaintaining Product and Sprint backlogs, ensuring prioritization based oncustomer needs.•Proficiency in translatingclient and product strategy requirements into Epics, Features, and UserStories, ensuring alignment with customer goals.•Strong data analysisbackground, organizational data management concepts, and SQL/databaseexperience, particularly in supporting customer-driven solutions.•Proficient in understandingand developing acceptance criteria to ensure test cases meet customersneeds/acceptance.•Experience with softwaredevelopment applications such as Azure DevOps and/or Jira.•Expertise with MicrosoftOffice products (Word, Excel, Access, Outlook, Visio, PowerPoint, ProjectServer).•Experience with reportingsystems, operational data stores, data warehouses, data lakes, and data marts.•Exceptional written andoral communication skills with a proven ability to advocate for customers whileworking with a diverse set of peers and stakeholders.Preferred:•Certified Business AnalysisProfessional (CBAP)•PMI - Professional inBusiness Analysis (PMI-PBA)•PMI - Agile CertifiedPractitioner (PMI-ACP)•Experience using AzureDevOps or Jira for agile software development and work item tracking.•Experience with automatedtesting tools such as TestComplete, Cucumber, or Selenium.Skills: Skill Required / Desired Amount of Experience Expertise Rating Move Experience delivering business and systems analysis artifacts Required Years Proficiency in translating client and product strategy requirements into application requirements and user stories.
