Sheryll Law, PC
Experienced Estate Planning Lawyer
Sheryll Law, PC, Riverhead, New York, United States, 11901
Our growing law firm is seeking to add a motivated, team-oriented Estate Planning Lawyer to make an immediate impact on day 1. We are seeking an experienced Estate Planning Lawyer with at least 3 years of progressive experience in estate planning and probate.
This lawyer must be capable of managing client matters with autonomy and minimal oversight but is comfortable working within an existing, proven team-based practice model. We do not expect this lawyer to do marketing or business development - we want a hard-working, technical expert for our growing team.
As a family-focused with flexible, hybrid work environment, Sheryll Law P.C. offers a competitive salary and compensation package. We are a team-oriented firm with a focus on providing client-centered, relationship-driven estate planning services to individuals, families, and business owners in Suffolk County, Nassau County, and throughout New York State. We are growth-minded and focused on expanding throughout the state in the near future.
We prioritize the client experience and relationship with our firm, and we seek an attorney who enjoys:
Working directly with clients to create and implement comprehensive estate planning strategies and funding.
Overseeing the completion of legal plans, including Wills, Trusts, Powers of Attorney, Deeds, and Corporate Documents.
Working as part of a team.
Legal technology and innovation.
Innovating beyond the status quo, focusing on practical estate planning.
Always doing right by clients.
Open, transparent communication and exceeding expectations.
The ideal candidate will have significant experience practicing estate planning and probate law, including client meetings, drafting, reviewing estate plans, and conducting signing meetings. They should be able to clearly explain complex planning strategies, including tax-based techniques, and diagnose poorly drafted plans to recommend remedies.
We are looking for someone driven to contribute to the firm's growth and who can serve as a stellar ambassador in all client interactions. Compensation includes salary, PTO, a 401(k) plan with employer match, full health benefits, disability insurance, and a flexible work environment.
Responsibilities:
Serve as a direct point of contact for clients, ensuring positive experiences and reviews.
Advise clients on estate planning options with clear, practical recommendations.
Mentor less-experienced team members and support team growth.
Contribute to team success and uphold a positive office culture.
Assist in expanding the firm's presence in Suffolk and Nassau Counties.
Qualifications:
Licensed to practice law in New York (applications from non-New York licensed attorneys will not be considered).
At least 3 years of estate planning and probate experience at a focused law firm.
High emotional intelligence, business and tech-savviness, or quick learning ability.
Comfort with client consultations.
Compensation:
$90,000 - $151,000 annually
