Director, Enterprise Applications
The Director, Enterprise Applications is responsible for providing leadership, and guidance for the implementation, integration, maintenance, and enhancement of the core IT Enterprise Applications as well as the overall quality and level of service delivery. This individual will report to the Vice President IT Operations and manage multiple technology platforms and multi-disciplined teams across the organization. The Director, Enterprise Applications, monitors and controls the quality of operations at core tier 3 support level. You will work closely with leadership to understand processes and optimize systems in order to best support the business. You will actively participate in day-to-day operation of systems and prioritization of service delivery, as well as, longer-range strategy, planning and execution of enhancement projects. Duties and Responsibilities: Ensure all Enterprise database systems are managed, maintained, documented and performing at an optimum level of high availability and low latency, using industry standards and best practices. Manage service delivery and SLAs by guiding incident resolution, problem management, maintenance and enhancement tickets raised by the end-users for assigned software applications. Collaborate with appropriate stakeholders to enable achieve of business objectives through the effective use of applications. Work closely with all IT management personnel in identifying, evaluating, selecting, and implementing specific information technologies that support the Corporate and IT strategies Navigate resolution of conflicting priorities and requirements across 3rd party vendors and/or departments. Develop relevant metrics and measurements; publish the performance of the services provided including outage communications and enable continuous improvement activities in collaboration with peer groups Continually assess business and user needs to analyze opportunities for innovative or optimized technology solutions. Promote an IT culture and attitude that is proactive, focuses on continuous improvement and raises the confidence level of the user community. Support short-term and long-term financial and operational goals with the successful delivery of programs and initiatives. Mentor and coach your team to ensure effective communication, continuous learning, teamwork, and development. Provide input to the Financial Capital and Budget Planning tracking software applications contracts. Lead and/or participate in special projects and assignments, as required. Participate in any other miscellaneous Company and departmental tasks, as required. Skills: Demonstrable success in implementation, operation, maintenance, and support of enterprise level applications at the tier 3 level. Knowledge of advanced principles and techniques of database management, system analysis, design, programming, and documentation. Ability to perform complex analysis and research, identify alternative solutions, forecast consequences of proposed actions, and implement recommendations in support of goals. Ability to establish effective working relationships at all levels of the institution. Excellent oral and written communications skills. Self-directed/driven Education & Experience Requirements: Experience: Five (5) years of increasingly responsible experience in an Information Technology leadership position including staff supervision. A proven leader with a track record of delivering products and enterprise solutions that deliver impact.
