We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Analytical Lab Chemist to join our laboratory team. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting various chemical analyses and tests to ensure the quality and compliance of our products. This role is essential in maintaining our high standards of product integrity and supporting our commitment to safety and innovation. Responsibilities
Perform routine and specialized chemical analyses on petroleum products. Ensure all products meet industry standards and regulatory requirements. Operate, calibrate, and maintain laboratory instruments. Accurately record and interpret test results. Adhere to all safety protocols. Assist in research and development projects. Prepare and present detailed reports. Work closely with other departments. Specific Lab Testing
Gas Chromatography: Conduct gas chromatography tests. Spectroscopy: Utilize spectroscopy techniques. Titration: Perform titration methods. Distillation: Conduct distillation tests. Viscosity Measurement: Measure viscosity. Flash Point Testing: Perform flash point tests. Density and Specific Gravity: Measure density and specific gravity. Sulfur Content Analysis: Conduct tests to determine sulfur content. Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, or related field. Minimum of 3+ years of experience in a laboratory setting. Proficiency in using laboratory instruments. Strong understanding of chemical analysis techniques. Excellent attention to detail. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Effective problem-solving skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience in Quality Control, Quality Assurance, and GMP. Skills in GC-MS, HPLC, and pipette handling. Understanding of QC check procedures. The pay range for this position is $26.00 - $29.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
