Position Summary:
We are looking for a Network Engineer responsible for planning, designing, and optimizing network infrastructure. You will develop innovative network solutions using copper, fiber, and wireless technologies, translating business needs into effective network architecture. Your role will involve managing routers, switches, and wireless access points, evaluating new products, and ensuring compliance through documentation and collaboration.
Applicant Expectations: Hold Cisco certifications in Network Professional, Design Professional, Security Professional, and Voice Professional domains. Expertise in end-to-end network infrastructure, including DMARC to workstations, fiber distribution, routers, switches, DHCP, and topology. Extensive experience with HPE/Aruba Switching products. Proficient in configuring and managing network switch equipment. Knowledge of the OSI model and data flow. Collaborate with Information Security Teams on firewall rules and PCI compliance. Travel to remote locations for support as needed. Participate in after-hours on-call rotation and escalation. Required Skills:
Understanding of networking design and implementation. Proficiency with enterprise networking hardware. Cloud networking experience. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective communication and collaboration. Education:
Bachelor's Degree or Technical Institute Degree/Certificate in Information Systems or related fields, or equivalent work experience. Experience:
At least 7 years of IT work experience in infrastructure/network environments. At least 3 years of enterprise networking experience. Experience with HPE/Aruba networking equipment is highly desired.
