This high-impact opportunity offers a 4x10 Days at a leading Hospital in Burbank, CA. Key Responsibilities: • Perform nuclear medicine imaging procedures including bone scans, cardiac stress tests, renal imaging, thyroid scans, and PET/CT studies • Operate nuclear medicine equipment including Siemens PET/CT machines, E-CAM systems, and orbiter units • Conduct specialized procedures such as MIBG, octreotide scans, thyroid ablation treatments, and cardiac stress testing • Start and maintain peripheral IVs for contrast administration and radiopharmaceutical injections • Draw venous blood samples and perform phlebotomy procedures • Utilize PACS system for image management and documentation • Chart patient information using Mediteach and Epic systems • Float between outpatient center and hospital settings as required • Work with diverse patient populations including adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients • Maintain current BLS certification and state licensure • Hold current ARRT Nuclear Medicine Technology certification or NMTCB certification • Complete required pre-start and annual training modules • Provide 2 supervisory references covering 1 year of experience within comparable specialty • Commit to working 3 out of 5 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, New Year's Day) • Self-report time spent on non-billable training modules • Utilize facility-provided communication devices when required for assignment duties • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and work effectively with students • Perform quality control procedures on imaging equipment • Adhere to radiation safety protocols and procedures Job Requirements: • Active, unencumbered license in CA • Minimum of 1-7 years of relevant experience, depending on specialty • Current Certifications: BLS and/or ACLS, plus any specialty-specific requirements • Experience with EMR systems (Epic, Cerner, as applicable) Other Required Documentation: • Current Resume listing detailed work history (MM/YYYY format) • Two current clinical references • State-required professional license • Physicial exam (completed within the past 12 months) • TB skin test or Quantiferon Gold (within the past 12 months) • Immunity Titers - MMR/Hep B/Varicella (declinations may be accepted) • Current Tdap and Flu vaccinations • Must pass background check and drug screening Why Choose VitalHire: • A modern, mobile-first platform built for how you want to work • Clear, upfront pay rates - no surprises • Book contracts and shifts on your schedule, 24/7 • Maximize your take-home with top tier, tax-free housing & travel stipends • Contract extension bonuses • Referral rewards • Optional retirement benefits One quick setup of your profile gives you immediate access to all job details, facilities, and complete control of your work-life balance.
