PURPOSE OF POSITION
The ELOP (Expanded Learning Opportunities Program) Program Leader is responsible for school site coordination of daily teacher and partner led after-school enrichment programs, ensuring a structured, safe environment that supports student engagement while engaging with families and school admin.

Reports to:
Director of Expanded Learning
RESPONSIBILITIES/DUTIES Advertisement and Enrollment of all site-based ELOP programs. Management and data-entry of all site-based ELOP attendance records Ensuring the safety of scholars and partners by implementing and enforcing ISANA safety protocols and procedures. Open communication with parents, vendors, school site teams, and the ICO EXL team. Developing and implementing daily physical enrichment activities that are engaging and age appropriate Assemble students and enter attendance Report vendor concerns to ICO EXL team Oversee and monitor student behavior during club activities to ensure a safe and positive learning environment, Distribute and record snacks to ELOP participants Provide front office support at the conclusion of daily ELOP Clubs. Exercises independent judgment Performs other duties as assigned Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIRED SKILLS, EDUCATION/TRAINING & EXPERIENCE
At Least 48 College Credit or ability to pass the ISANA Academies Paraprofessional Proficiency Exam Ability to speak, read, and write English Prior Experience working with school aged children preferred Must clear TB and Background Ability to maintain accurate and clear records PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL ELEMENTS:
This position may include long periods of sitting or standing in an environment with moderate noise levels, and no direct exposure to hazardous physical substances. This position is frequently required to stand, sit or walk, use hands and fingers and reach with arms. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision to read printed materials and a computer screen with ability to adjust focus. Communication skills required by this job include the ability to hear and speak. Finger dexterity is needed to access, enter and retrieve data using a computer keyboard, typewriter keyboard, or calculator and to operate standard office equipment. The position occasionally bends, stoops, reaches, pushes, and pulls drawers to retrieve and file information and lifts and carries items that typically weigh less than 20 pounds. The position requires the ability to occasionally travel by train, plane, or other means inside and outside of the Los Angeles area. May have occasional exposure to irate parents, staff, and public and private representatives.
