Responsibilities of this position include: Manage all aspects of assigned aircraft projects including coordinating necessary resources, documentation, and communication with the appropriate personnel Inspect, service, repair, and troubleshoot aircraft avionics components and systems in a safe and organized work area Manage assigned technicians on all aspects of assigned aircraft projects Manage projects by scheduling and assigning work for team members and monitoring day-to-day activities of team members Oversee, complete, and maintain accurate and timely aircraft and project documentation Inventory parts provided for project and order parts as required Expertly prepares and completes various documents for maintenance/modification record keeping purposes, as required by FAA Airworthiness Regulations, Elliott Aviation Policies and Processes, FAA Approved Repair Station and Quality Control Manuals, and personal training logs (OJT) Proficiently and consistently locate and uses the appropriate technical data to accomplish any and all tasks Support, maintain, and comply with all Federal, OSHA, State and local regulations, and Elliott Aviation's Environmental, Health, and Safety Policies and Processes Perform related duties, as assigned. Qualifications: Ability to attain & retain AOA badge or Airport requirements FAA Inspection Authorization (IA) preferred Must obtain & retain designation as an Elliott Aviation Production Inspector (Blue stamp) High school graduate or equivalency degree required Thorough knowledge and understanding of FARs 43, 65, 91, 135, 145 Aircraft maintenance experience preferred Licenses: Airframe & Powerplant License required Skills and Competencies: Willingness to work on a team with both experienced technicians and mentor junior technicians with a calm demeanor Willingness to learn by taking guidance from others Ability to communicate well in straightforward situations Organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to maintain a safe and clean work environment Must possess excellent mechanical aptitude and a desire to work Salary & Benefits: Wage Scale: The wage scale for this position ranges from $20.00 to $44.00 per hour, based on experience, qualifications and performance. Specific compensation for this role will be determined by several factors including but not limited to; minimum and preferred qualifications, knowledge, skills, abilities, education, experience and location.
