Cnc Machinist/Programmer
Aerotek is currently hiring for a CNC Machinist/Programmer in the greater Baltimore, MD area! Qualified candidates will be able to perform the following duties: Job Description
We are seeking a skilled CNC Machinist to generate programs for 3 and 5 axis routers, mills, and other machining centers You will design and develop tooling and machining fixtures while reading and comprehending work orders, production instructions, 2D prints, and 3D models Your role includes tracking and documenting all revisions to product drawings and tooling, partnering with engineering and sales to ensure parts meet customer specifications, and providing feedback to management on potential risks, possible improvements, and problem resolution Responsibilities
Precisely machine parts to specifications using machine tools, CNC mills, 3 and 5 axis routers including Haas, Fadal, and DMS Accurately calculate dimensions and tolerances using mathematics and measuring instruments such as gauges, calipers, and micrometers Complete machine setups to part specifications and monitor the feed and speed of machines during the machining process Ensure that materials and molds meet quality standards and are production-ready Assist with machine maintenance and adhere to maintenance schedules Perform job responsibilities in safe and proper techniques in accordance with company standards of conduct and integrity Preferred Experience
Minimum of 3 years with CNC Machining and Programming experience Experience in a machine shop, job shop, or production environment Proficiency with CAD/CAM systems, particularly MasterCAM and SolidWorks Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $39.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
