Locum to Perm - Physician - Gastroenterology (Des Moines, IA)
Join a leading healthcare facility in Des Moines, Iowa, where you can make a significant impact on patient care. We are seeking an inpatient locum to perm provider for our gastroenterology team. This position offers a structured schedule and the opportunity for long-term placement while serving an adult population.
Job Responsibilities:- Provide hospital-based coverage for gastroenterology patients.
- Perform 3-4 outpatient procedures daily, in addition to inpatient procedures and consultations.
- Be available for 24-hour call shifts from 7 AM to 7 AM.
- Utilize Cerner EMR for patient documentation.
- Deliver high-quality medical services with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Must be interested in locum to perm opportunities.
- Board Certified or Truly Board Eligible within 3 years of residency REQUIRED.
- Active Iowa License or IMLC REQUIRED.
- ACLS certified REQUIRED.
- Experience in performing ERCP REQUIRED.
- Experience with EUS is highly preferred.
- COVID vaccination REQUIRED.
- Clean malpractice/background record REQUIRED.
- Active Iowa medical license or IMLC.
- ACLS certification.
