We are seeking a Neonatologist for a 120-day locum tenens assignment in California, starting Dec 1, 2025. This critical role involves 24/7 coverage with 24-hour shifts, demanding a quick response to neonatal intensive care needs, particularly in a NICU setting. Job Details Location: California Start Date: Dec 1, 2025 LOA: 120 days Provider Type Needed: Neonatologist Schedule: 24-hour shifts, including out of house call with a 30-minute response time Responsibilities and Duties Provide comprehensive neonatal care in a NICU Manage daily patient care activities, including assessments and treatments Participate in the management of a low volume NICU with an average daily census of 0.7 Handle procedures as required Deliver care for high-risk deliveries, comprising 10-12% of annual deliveries Additional Information Board certification in Neonatology or Neonatal Nurse Practitioner (NNP) required Must be licensed to practice in California Prior experience with Epic EMR systems preferred Multiple positions available, with a firm start in December Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
