Job description
GLS Landscape | Architecture, an award-winning interdisciplinary design studio in San Francisco, is seeking a mid-level landscape designer with strong design and technical documentation skills or a mid-level architectural designer with demonstrated experience in landscape architecture. Candidates with a dual-degree background in both disciplines are especially encouraged to apply.
Responsibilities
- Produce clear, detailed, and accurate working drawings.
- Develop construction details that align with the overall design intent and project budget.
- Manage small to medium-sized projects, including preparing presentations, maintaining client relationships, tracking budgets, and participating in meetings.
- Assist with construction administration, including site observation and coordination with contractors.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of professional experience in a design studio environment.
- Strong digital visualization skills and confident freehand graphics.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with clients and team members.
- Highly organized, efficient, self-directed, reliable, and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, SketchUp, Rhino, Adobe Creative Suite, and Microsoft Office.
- Experience with Revit is a plus.
- Dual degrees in architecture and landscape architecture encouraged to applly.
