May Institute is seeking a visionary, mission-driven Vice President of Educational Services to oversee our award-winning day schools and residential programs across Massachusetts. As a senior executive, you will ensure the delivery of exceptional educational and clinical services while advancing strategic goals, operational sustainability, and transformative outcomes for the individuals and families we serve. What You’ll Do
- Set the Vision: Establish and execute a strategic roadmap for our educational programs—aligning services with May Institute’s mission, values, and growth priorities.
- Champion Program Excellence: Ensure high-quality, evidence-based instruction and clinical supports across assigned day schools and residential programs, fostering continuous improvement and measurable student outcomes.
- Maintain Compliance & Accreditation: Ensure full compliance with DESE, EEC, DCF, and other licensing and accreditation bodies. Oversee timely licensure, training, and certification for program staff and leaders.
- Develop High-Performing Teams: Support and empower school and program leaders to build inclusive, values-aligned cultures with strong staff engagement, retention, and professional growth.
- Foster Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Clinical, Quality Improvement, Human Resources, Finance, and Operations leaders to align strategies, share resources, and drive integrated service delivery.
- Optimize Operations & Stewardship: Oversee program budgets, risk management protocols, and productivity systems. Use data to inform planning, ensure accountability, and deliver results.
What You Bring
- Executive Leadership: Minimum 6–8 years of progressive leadership in education, special education, residential services, or human services, including oversight of multi-site programs and complex teams.
- Operational Expertise: Deep experience in school and residential administration, compliance, financial oversight, and program development.
- Strategic Vision & Execution: Proven ability to set long-term strategy, define success metrics, and lead teams toward mission-aligned goals.
- Commitment to Equity & Inclusion: Demonstrated integrity in service delivery, with a focus on dignity, access, and culturally responsive practices.
