Position Overview:

The Director will report to the VP of SEC Reporting and will be responsible for the preparation of global consolidation, financial statements, and all SEC filings. The role oversees the accuracy and completeness of external reporting across the organization. The successful candidate will build relationships across multiple business segments and provide data, presentations, and analysis to enhance brand recognition for RBI within the investor community.

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare quarterly and annual global financial consolidations
  • Manage the preparation, review, and filing of Form 10-Q and 10-K
  • Research and communicate SEC reporting disclosure guidance and peer analysis
  • Participate in special projects as needed

Essential Duties:

  • Oversee global financial consolidation processes, including balance sheets, cash flows, and income statements
  • Lead the preparation of US GAAP interim and annual financial statements and disclosures, including new disclosures
  • Coordinate quarterly earnings deliverables: earnings release, conference call scripts, Q&A documents, and presentations
  • Oversee SEC report filings (10-K, 10-Q, 8-K, etc.)
  • Ensure compliance with accounting standards (U.S. GAAP, SEC regulations, SOX 404)
  • Collaborate with Investor Relations, Legal, HR, Treasury, Tax, and other teams to ensure accurate and timely financial communication and maintain proper disclosure controls
  • Implement process improvements, including new system implementations and data management enhancements
  • Supervise SEC Reporting team members’ work, including equity-related accounting areas
  • Manage quarterly reviews and annual audits, maintaining relationships with external auditors
  • Lead the implementation and execution of special projects

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in accounting or related field; master's degree preferred; CPA required
  • 7+ years of experience in financial reporting, including Big 4 public accounting and industry experience
  • Experience in a publicly traded, multinational company preferred
  • Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
  • Proven leadership in managing teams, priorities, and deadlines
  • Experience with global consolidation, foreign currency translation, and intercompany eliminations a plus
  • Knowledge of OneStream, Workiva, SAP, and other accounting systems helpful
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
