Ruckus Networks, a CommScope BU, is seeking a Escalation Engineer who is passionate about pioneering smart Wi-Fi products. These products enable carriers and enterprises to stay ahead of the exploding demand for high-bandwidth applications and services.
How you’ll help us connect the world:
- Support and develop Ruckus products, including WiFi Access Points (AP), Controllers (premise and cloud), and Ruckus analytic tools.
- Interact with support teams to debug and troubleshoot customer field issues and recover networks promptly.
- Reproduce customer network issues in the lab to isolate root causes.
- Develop and deliver patches and features to meet customer requirements.
Required Qualifications:
- Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- 3 to 10 years of experience in software engineering, with a strong track record in network device software development.
- Proficiency in C, C++, Python, Java.
- Deep expertise in IP networking, routing protocols; strong WiFi background is a plus.
- Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills in L2/L3 networks.

Our salary ranges consider various factors including benchmarking, skill sets, experience, education, geography, and business needs. Depending on experience, the range can be higher for candidates with exceptional backgrounds. The expected total compensation (base salary and commission) is $182,000.00-$240,000.00.
The benefits package includes medical, dental, vision plans, life and accidental death insurance, a 401(k) plan, and participation in the Company’s Incentive Plan. Candidates will be eligible for paid holidays, vacation, and other leave options.
