Job Overview

TheContracts Senior Manageris a key leadership role responsible for managing the full lifecycle of contracts at IPI—from drafting and negotiation to execution and ongoing oversight. This individual ensures all contracts align with legal standards, organizational policies, and strategic goals. The ideal candidate will bring a deep understanding of contract law, strong negotiation acumen, and the ability to manage multiple high-priority projects across departments. This role works closely with legal counsel, internal stakeholders, and external partners to ensure contract integrity, performance, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop, implement, and continuously improve contract management policies and procedures.
  • Lead the drafting, review, negotiation, and execution of a variety of contractual agreements.
  • Ensure contracts are compliant with all applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
  • Oversee contract renewals, amendments, and terminations, ensuring timely actions and risk mitigation.
  • Maintain and manage a centralized, searchable contract repository.
  • Monitor contract performance and obligations, proactively addressing compliance and performance issues.
  • Resolve contract-related disputes in collaboration with internal teams and external parties.
  • Work closely with legal counsel to navigate complex contractual matters.
  • Provide contract insights and risk assessments to support business development and strategic decision-making.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field (J.D. preferred but not required).
  • 5–7 years of progressive experience in contract management or a related discipline.
  • Professional certification in contract management (e.g.,CPCM,CCMP) preferred.
  • In-depth knowledge of contract law, legal terminology, and industry-specific regulations.
  • Proven success in negotiating complex contracts and managing contract risks.
  • Proficiency in contract lifecycle management (CLM) systems and tools.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with keen attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Compensation Information:

Please note that the offered rate of compensation will be based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including education, experience, qualifications, the external labor market, and internal equity. Variable incentives may also be offered. The Salary range for this role is $150,000 -$185,000/ annual salary. Salary is negotiable for the right candidate.
