Job Summary:

Must be 16 years of age or older by September 1, 2025

It's a spooky time of year, and we want you to be part of the thrills as you frighten those who dare come to the park. We offer a variety of scare experiences, including haunted houses and scare zones throughout the park. Let’s make this Fright Fest scarier than ever! Non-scary positions are also available for daytime events and activities. Apply today!

Job Duties:

  • Perform in a Haunted House or as a street performer in full scary make-up and costume
  • Provide a unique guest experience through scaring
  • Perform individually or in a group setting
  • Adhere to park standards of appearance and maintain a safe environment
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Pay Rate: $15/hr.

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to work on operating days (Fridays-Sundays) starting September 13, 2025 – November 3, 2025, and Thursday, October 31, 2025. Any conflicts must be noted at the time of application/interview
  • Must have an outgoing, high-energy personality
  • Must be able to carry 10 to 30 lbs of heavy costume or props
  • Must be able to perform in any weather conditions
  • Willing to play multiple roles
  • Capable of performing for long periods while walking, crouching, and crawling
  • Comfortable with strobe lighting, fog, and other effects
  • Able to wear latex masks, silicone masks, or FX makeup at all times

Working Conditions:

Includes indoor and outdoor environments, all weather conditions, and various times of day. Lighting varies from natural to artificial, with possible use of theatrical smoke, haze, strobe lights, and low lighting. Equipment used includes props, microphones, and cleaning tools. Physical demands include standing, walking, lifting, and carrying. Days and hours vary, including weekends, evenings, and holidays. The role involves close contact with park guests.

An optional one-minute monologue is encouraged but not required. Showcase your zombie walk, accents, screams, unique skills, and scare tactics! No scary makeup or costumes are required for casting.
