General Purpose


The Chief Operating Officer will plan, direct, coordinate, and oversee company success by managing operational activities across the organization. This includes developing and implementing efficient operational plans for the infrastructure, systems, processes, and personnel to meet both the current and future needs of the organization.

ESSENTIAL JOB DETAILS:

  • Establishes, implements, and communicates the strategic direction of the organization's operations division.

  • Communicate and stress THS National’s safety initiatives and culture through all operations and systems so that it infiltrates team member actions.

  • Responsible for driving the company to achieve and surpass sales, profitability, cash-flow, business goals and objectives.

  • Collaborates with executive leadership to develop and meet company goals while supplying expertise and guidance on operations projects and systems

  • Establishes, communicates, and implements operations-related policies, practices, standards, and safety measures to ensure effective and consistent support and execution.

  • Regularly meet with department heads to determine, set and review goals and ensure the teams have what’s needed to meet those goals.

  • Work with teams to maintain and monitor company standards to ensure customers receive the best quality of work.

  • Work with CEO and CFO to identify ways to increase revenues and decrease costs, analyzing financial data and working with staff and department managers to prepare operating budgets.

  • Ensure that staff’s time is utilized efficiently and that people are routed effectively to maximize their productivity and minimize wasted time and effort

  • Review and revisions to the Company’s current Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to more effectively manage the organization's current construction delivery activities and its projected growth.

  • Analyze general economic, business, and financial conditions and their impact on the operations departments.

  • Work collaboratively with other senior leaders and other departments to support their efforts in accomplishing Company goals.

  • Reports directly to CEO.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • Proven experience (10+ years) in operations management, with some experience in the construction industry, preferably in multifamily renovations.

  • Strong background in driving operational efficiencies, managing resources, and improving business processes.

  • Proven track record of heading a line of business to financial success and contributing to revenue growth.

  • In-depth knowledge of construction project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and quality control.

  • Experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing a diverse workforce.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions to drive operational improvements.

  • Familiarity with industry safety regulations and compliance standards.

  • Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Business Administration, or a related field (preferred but not required depending on experience) .
