An established and mission-driven retail/specialty pharmacy is launching a newly created leadership opportunity. We're seeking a forward-thinking Director of Pharmacy Operations to oversee pharmacy performance, staff leadership, and business development strategy.
This is a full-time, direct hire leadership role for someone with proven operational expertise, business acumen, and deep experience in HIV/AIDS pharmacy services.
Key Responsibilities

• Oversee daily pharmacy operations, supervising Pharmacy Managers and teams
• Ensure regulatory compliance, ACHC specialty accreditation, and SOP adherence
• Monitor KPIs and implement strategies to enhance efficiency and service quality
• Lead recruiting, performance management, and staff development
• Build and maintain provider and prescriber partnerships to expand pharmacy reach
• Oversee inventory management, 340B and retail accounts, and vendor relations
• Support marketing initiatives, outreach programs, and patient community engagement
  

Required Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Pharmacy Director or Manager in a retail or specialty setting
• Proven team leadership of at least 3+ direct reports
• Strong background in HIV/AIDS pharmacy services (AAHIVP certification highly preferred)
• Deep understanding of operational metrics, compliance standards, and performance management
• Demonstrated success in business development and external partnership growth
• Clear, active Florida Pharmacist license
  

This is a high-impact role reporting directly to the Chief Pharmacy Officer. Ideal for a hands-on leader ready to drive operational success and expand clinical service lines.
