Position Summary:
This position is responsible for coordinating activities related to Sourcing for manufacturing orders to suppliers including timelines with Production, Shipping, Receiving, Engineering, Inventory and Project Management and Quality Control departments to ensure a timely and accurate procurement process.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
- Manage all Sourcing for Production
- Source new vendors for to meet Company’s needs for outsourcing
- Negotiate timeline, cost (budgets) and manage the flow of goods coming in and out of the facility to meet projects on-time, on-budget and on-spec
- Coordinate a wide variety of functions within the company to provide liaison support during pre-delivery time including activities within order processing, customer relations and sales support
- Manage flow of supplies and inventory levels based on production needs and according to master production schedule
- Plan and coordinate delivery of goods, transportation and logistics to deliver materials the proper facility
- Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods to meet production timelines.
- Work with Inventory department to maintain accurate information regarding pricing, inventory stock levels, releases, order status within automated ERP system
- Work with cross function teams to identify and define customer and project requirements that clearly layout customer expectations to all parties.
- Ensure that all contract administration procedures are followed and executed in a professional manner.
- Regular in-person attendance is an essential function of this job.

Education and/or Experience
·Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Inventory Management or MBA
·1-3 years of experience in supply chain management
·Previous experience in manufacturing required
Knowledge and Skills:
- Ability to communicate with vendors, technical resources, and management.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced schedule-driven environment. Timing is a critical function and is the key value that provides to our customers.
- Ability to manage budgets
- Positive attitude, team player, good attendance, hard worker, self-motivated with attention to detail
·Must be able to read, write and converse fluently in English with the level of competency that will permit the applicant to function in the position (i.e., negotiate contracts, scheduling meetings, collaborate across departments, provide written documentation internally and externally).
