We are currently searching for a Senior Manager for Product Development within our Upholstery division.
Key Qualifications
- Proven track record in product development
- Ability to contribute to and execute a Point of View
- Understanding of RH brand identity and market position
- Ownership mindset with strong follow-through skills
- Flexibility to collaborate across departments
- Experience in developing and executing merchandise concepts aligned with brand strategy
- Ability to research market categories and gather insights from various sources
Product Management Responsibilities
- Manage the product development process from concept to final approval
- Maintain project status spreadsheets and documentation
- Ensure deadlines are met according to the RH Master Calendar
- Coordinate with VP, merchants, sourcing, and manufacturers for project execution
- Seek approval for projects from relevant stakeholders
- Communicate standards and progress effectively
- Monitor approval processes for efficiency
Administrative Duties
- Weekly meetings with VP; submit reports if meetings are missed
- Manage freelance design relationships and approve invoices
- Maintain development archives
- Conduct weekly project meetings with merchants
- Track and reconcile budgets and expenditures
- Protect intellectual property and report legal concerns
Product Development Activities
- Collaborate with VP on seasonal concepts
- Present initial ideas and tear sheets during brainstorms
- Establish key ideas in focus meetings
- Present product ideas at seasonal strategy meetings
- Create and prioritize PD needs lists based on key concepts
