Responsibilities
- Lead projects to protect Google Search users from abuse, inappropriate content, and fraud by investigating, preventing, and removing quality issues.
- Analyze product vulnerabilities, identify new abuse trends, and develop insights and recommendations for systematic solutions.
- Collaborate across Search features to find commonalities and abuse patterns, including personalization aspects.
- Develop strategies and goals focused on user trust and safety in Search. Manage multiple product areas and build cross-functional partnerships with Product, Policy, Legal, Engineering, and other Trust and Safety teams.
- Work with team members to prevent complex abuse issues, sharing best practices and applying system knowledge.
Qualifications
Minimum qualifications:- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years in data analytics, Trust and Safety, policy, cybersecurity, business strategy, or escalation management.
- 1 year in Machine Learning performance, large-scale data analysis, ML debugging, LLMs, or related ML fields.
- Experience with SQL, dashboards, data transformation, visualization, or scripting languages like Python.
- Experience in Abuse Detection and Policies.
- Experience developing operational processes from scratch.
- Leading cross-functional projects across organizations.
- Ability to develop expertise in multiple product areas and manage workload effectively.
