Job Title: Director of Supply Chain
This exciting role will be responsible for leading all aspects of supply chain operations, supporting high-performance manufacturing across electromagnetic systems, antennas, and aerospace technologies. The role will oversee procurement, materials planning, logistics, supplier performance, and compliance to ensure seamless operations supporting mission-critical defense and aerospace programs. The company is headquartered in the San Leandro, CA area and is a leading designer and manufacturer of antennas and electromagnetic systems for the defense industry.

Responsibilities:
- Lead end-to-end supply chain strategy and execution across multiple facilities supporting defense electronics and complex hardware systems.
- Manage procurement, materials planning, inventory control, logistics, and warehousing functions.
- Drive strategic sourcing and develop a high-reliability supply base for machined parts, electronics, composite materials, and build-to-print assemblies.
- Ensure DFARS, ITAR, and DoD compliance across suppliers and internal handling.
- Support program execution and new product introductions (NPIs) by aligning supply chain readiness with engineering and manufacturing.
- Establish and monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to cost, quality, delivery, lead time, and working capital.
- Lead SIOP/S&OP planning efforts in coordination with finance, sales, and operations.
- Negotiate contracts, long-term agreements, and pricing strategies to ensure cost-effective sourcing.
- Champion continuous improvement efforts using Lean, Six Sigma, or similar methodologies to reduce waste and improve performance.
- Partner with Engineering, Quality, and Program Management to resolve supply chain risks and material issues.
- Oversee the utilization of ERP and MRP systems for accurate planning and traceability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Engineering, Business, or related field (MBA or APICS/CSCP certification preferred).
- Expertise in the ERP System Deltek Costpoint is essential.
- Ability to obtain or hold a security clearance.
- 10+ years of progressive supply chain experience, with at least 5 years in leadership within aerospace, defense, or electronics manufacturing.
- Proven success in DoD or government contract environments, including DFARS/ITAR compliance and AS9100 quality systems.
- Strong experience with make-to-order or low-rate initial production (LRIP) supply chains.
- Familiarity with earned value management (EVM), program lifecycle support, and proposal material costing.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
- The ability to scale operations in a growth-stage environment while maintaining agility.
- Experience leading supply chain digitalization or system implementation projects.
- A deep understanding of global logistics and export/import regulations.
Salary Range: $170,000-190,000+ depending on experience.
Weekly Schedule: Day Shift 9/80 (Work 9 days biweekly onsite and have every other Friday off).
