Transportation Project Manager

Compensation: $180,000 + Equity | Full-Time | 100% Employee-Owned (ESOP)

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Transportation Project Manager to join a well-established and growing civil engineering firm based in Boston, MA . This is an exciting opportunity to work with a 100% Employee-Owned company that provides direct equity participation to all employees — aligning long-term financial growth with individual contribution.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead the planning, design, and execution of MassDOT transportation infrastructure projects , ensuring compliance with agency standards and timelines.
Manage multidisciplinary project teams including engineers, designers, and subconsultants.
Oversee project budgets, schedules, and deliverables from concept through construction.
Serve as the primary client contact for MassDOT and other transportation agencies.
Ensure QA/QC protocols are followed throughout the project lifecycle.
Mentor junior engineers and contribute to team development.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field (Master’s preferred).
Professional Engineer (PE) license in Massachusetts (or ability to obtain).
Minimum 8–10 years of experience in transportation project management, with a strong background in MassDOT projects .
Proven ability to lead projects and coordinate teams effectively.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
