Senior Project Manager (Public Sector – Defense/Security)

Location: North | Remuneration: Base + Variable Bonus
Working Arrangement: Perm under client

Job Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end IT infrastructure projects, ensuring delivery on time, within scope and budget.
• Oversee deployment, upgrades, and maintenance of networks, servers, storage, and data centers.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams, vendors, and stakeholders for seamless execution.
• Monitor risks, issues, and dependencies, implementing effective mitigation plans.
• Ensure compliance with quality, security, and regulatory standards.
• Provide regular project updates to leadership and drive process improvements.

Qualification & Experience

• Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
• Min 5 years of experience in various infrastructure projects within government agencies.
• Prior experience in similar public sector environment required.
• Able to handle parallel tracks, technical issues and manage different groups of users and external vendors.
• Good working knowledge in networking where relevant technical certification (e.g. CCNA, CCNP, ITIL or equivalent) is highly desired.
• Strong analytical skills, able to define risk, identify potential threats, and develop action/mitigation plans.
