Software Engineer - High-Frequency Trading - Austin

A leading High-Frequency Trading firm based in Austin is seeking an adept Software Engineer to help design, develop, deploy, and maintain their Trading Systems and related tools.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, deploy, and maintain Trading Systems (utilizing C++)
Develop automation tools utilized by Traders (utilizing Python)
Help design and deploy the infrastructure hosting Trading Systems
Collaborate with Traders, QDs, and QRs to identify bottlenecks in Trading operations, and develop suitable tools/solutions

Requirements:

A university degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, or a related field
Proficiency with C++ and Python
Experience with C# and C (nice-to-have)
Experience developing Trading Systems and related tools (nice-to-have)
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
