We seek passionate, hands-on leaders for Pure’s Analytics & AI Field Solutions Architects team. This role involves providing guidance, enablement, and support in Analytics & AI, focusing on opportunities and partnerships across a sales region. The ideal candidate understands client business strategies, how to position Pure solutions, and their role in high-performance data pipelines.
This role also involves qualifying and positioning AI & Analytics opportunities, internal and external enablement, and cross-functional collaboration with Solutions, Marketing, Alliances, Engineering, Enablement, and Sales teams to align initiatives and go-to-market campaigns. The candidate must maintain technical expertise in emerging solutions.
Responsibilities include:
- Creating field-facing solutions content (Technical Walkthroughs, Deep Dives, Demos, Guides, etc.) for Analytics & AI solutions.
- Developing enablement projects to prepare the field for Analytics & AI opportunities.
- Delivering webinars and event presentations with partners and vendors.
- Participating in customer calls, demos, POCs, strategy sessions, and solution activities.
- Staying updated on product advancements and formalizing enablement plans.
- Contributing to solutions roadmap and providing field feedback.
- Maintaining Slack availability for enablement and influence.
- Participating in field testing to document practical insights.
- Providing post-sales troubleshooting and support.
- Partnering with sales leaders for feedback and communication.
- Inspiring and motivating the field to adopt Pure Storage technology.
- Engaging cross-functionally within the organization.
- Building internal relationships across Pure Storage.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Data Science, Computer Science, or related field / equivalent experience.
- 8+ years of Pre-sales experience in IT.
- Deep technical knowledge in Analytics & AI, with industry vision.
- Understanding of infrastructure components (servers, networking, storage).
- Proven leadership as a technical evangelist with deep expertise.
- Sales experience with Analytics & AI solutions, familiar with competitive landscape.
- Ability to articulate customer and solution strategies at a technical level.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Proficiency with G-Suite, CRM, and opportunity management systems (preferably Salesforce).
- Strong problem-solving skills with complex engineering designs.
- Knowledge of Analytics & AI technologies and their integration (e.g., Splunk, Kafka, Spark, Snowflake, TensorFlow, etc.).
- Willingness to travel within the US and abroad.
- Strong work ethic and follow-through.
- Publications and social media presence are a plus.
The annual base salary range is $168,000 – $299,000, with potential incentive pay and/or equity. We offer perks for work-life balance, including flexible time off and wellness resources. Applications are accepted ongoing until filled.
