Join us to accelerate our digital tomorrow! Our Digital Hub Team in Garching/Munich is looking for a Senior Software Architect (gn):
Your Responsibilities
- Shape our digital transformation through developing new software solutions (sales, operations, R&D, finance etc.)
- Enrich our software strategy with new ideas
- Become a key supporter of our lead developer: be responsible for strategic and operational tasks
- Capture and share best-practice knowledge within digital communities
- Build strong relationships with technical individuals to ensure successful implementation
Your Profile
- Master’s degree or equivalent experience in computer science
- 5+ years of experience in application architecture, software development, database architecture, and networking
- Understanding of various programming interfaces e.g. SOAP, RESTful, etc.
- Intermediate/advanced knowledge of cloud services, market segments, customer bases, and industry verticals
- Understanding of application, server, and network security and compliance requirements (e.g., GDPR, ISO27xxx)
- Deep knowledge in SQL and NoSQL databases (e.g., MariaDB, DocumentDB, Loki, etc.)
- Experience in onboarding and mentoring junior employees
- Excellent organizational, documentation, and communication skills
- Fluent in English; German is a plus
