The IT Specialist I provides DASA DEC system administration and training support.

• Maintain database for existing management information systems, analyzes and solves computer problems. Follow maintenance protocols to ensure systems are secure and ready for users.
• Maintain and troubleshoot devices and systems, hardware, and software.
• Maintain and troubleshoot devices and systems, hardware, and software. Document system performance and support data backup. Supports the organization’s technical POC for wireless services.
• Assist in the processing of System Authorization Access Requests (SAAR) as required for access to the DoD Automated Time Attendance and Production System (ATAAPS), Pentagon and remote site network access (NIPRNet and SIPRNet), and other systems/networks as directed.
• Assist in the development and execution of life-cycle management processes for IT and mobile communications equipment.
• Maintain DASA DEC on-site workstations to ensure equipment availability and NIPRNet and SIPRNet connectivity as required.
• Assist in managing DASA DEC mobile devices and user accounts, including user account creation, modification, and termination.
  
  

Required

• Bachelor’s Degree
• 5 years of IT experience
• Requires Secret clearance
